Survey on Judging Bias
USAG received a request to distribute a link for a research study being conducted by a female judge from the US who holds a Men’s Artistic Gymnastics FIG-Brevet rating. This is by no means a requirement, but she would appreciate your participation in her study. Many of the questions relate to FIG judging, but try to relate it as much as possible to JO judging. If you have a USA Brevet (JO), you can either indicate it on the “Other “ choice or as a National. Whenever it mentions “D” or “E” score they are referring to FIG’s Difficulty Score (similar to Start Value) and Execution score (execution & artistry). Thank you in advance to those of you who decide to participate.

Clarification from USA Gymnastics
There has been some confusion as to what individuals can print from their “My Profile.” Currently everyone can print out their Professional Membership card with their expiration dates for membership, safety cert and background check. As for the Judges’ rating card, we are working on providing that option but the only way you can obtain an actual rating card is by snail-mail after taking an exam and achieving a new rating. If someone has misplaced their card, we can print another for them. The only “printable” item regarding ratings is found under “Certificates” and a normal sized certificate for each rating currently held can be printed.
